Background
The company was formed in 2001 when Steve Balem and Darren Taylor completed a management buyout of ESA Precision Engineering, a business with more than twenty five years of trading behind it. Both directors are time served engineers with over sixty years of experience between them.
Darren completed his apprenticeship at UKAEA Winfrith. Steve trained at ESA Precision Engineering and has been with the company since leaving school, progressing from apprentice to managing director.
In 2012 we moved into a purpose built 6,000 sq ft facility. Further expansion in 2020 added another 1,800 sq ft to accommodate additional CNC machines and inspection equipment as demand increased.
